Ujaagar – ‘The Auction’ was referred to as the act of shedding light upon people which adds to the world becoming a happier place. This project was guided and mentored by Mr. Dinesh Dutta. The project donated the auction-generated sum to Kavach Foundation.

Money generated from the this auction benefited both the artist and the needful since profits was donated to charity. The collection not only consistdc of artworks by professionals but also those created by new and upcoming artists, who had received good exposure through this project.

The art auction was held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chowpatty, Mumbai. The team of School and college students were able to sell each and every artwork. The project was guided and mentored by Mr. Dinesh Dutta, a contemporary educator and artist.

The art auction’s mission was to uncover various artistic talents and reveal them to the world while supporting the indigent. The art auction’s collection had a variety of paintings, photography, folk art, digital art and others in traditional and contemporary styles.

The auction saw a wide range of art lovers as the team maintained affordable prices for artworks starting at just Rs. 1000. The art collection was created by graduates just passing art school along with the highly experienced elder artists that captured the most captivating moments and converted them to emotions across the canvas.

The school students had organised a series of workshops and performances at the exhibition’s venue for students, teachers and art lovers.

Money generated from this event had benefited both the artists and the needful since profits was donated to charities.
